Catch provides you with a simple, lightweight way to manage chargebacks and disputes via email.

New Chargeback

Catch will notify you via email when a consumer files a chargeback with their bank. This email will contain the following details to help you decide whether you want to accept or dispute the chargeback:

  • Chargeback reason
  • Chargeback amount
  • Catch Purchase ID
  • Merchant Order ID
  • Catch Dispute ID
  • Response deadline

If you wish to dispute the chargeback, you must respond to the email with all of the requested evidence before the response deadline passes.

If you wish to accept the chargeback, you can respond to the email with the word "accept". If you don't respond to the email, the chargeback will be automatically accepted once the response deadline passes.

Dispute Resolution

Catch will notify you via email when the consumer's bank makes a final decision about whether you or the consumer wins the dispute. This email will contain the following details:

  • Chargeback amount
  • Merchant Order ID
  • Catch Dispute ID
